I just wanna say that I love to watch your show cause it's all about natives and what goes on in our everyday lives. My 2 year old son likes to watch Heartbeat when we do. He gets so excited to see and hear the native music. Keep up the good job making the show great. It feels real good to know that we have a show just for us. Think about making it an hour long sometime. :)
I always enjoy your program and it means so much to us
Alaska Natives. Our traditions and Cultures are so very valuable and with
your program you touch so many natives hearts with happiness. thank you

Looking to finish my writing

city boy who finally gets to meet his cousin in a far away Alaskan town.
It just so happens I found the town of Kotzebue as my perfect place for a
city boy to visit. Thanks for being there. Have a great year.

Ya'at'eeh, Hello. I love watching your show
here on the Navajo Nation. It gives me an insight of the Alaskan Native
culture and tradition. You have a very rich traditional culture. I really
appreciate the positive connection that I see with each community who have
made it a top priority in re-teaching the young and old about their culture.
Thank
you, Ahe'hee.

the show - We see shows on many diffrent communities shown on your T.V. Show
Heart Beat Alaska. I've been wanting to see Point Hope for the longest time.
We live in the oldest continuously occupied Inupiat Eskimo areas in Alaska.
There have been several settlements have existed on the penisula over the
past 2, 500 years including old and new tigara, Ipiutak, Jabbertown and the
present Point Hope. I love living here. I sure wouldn't mind seeing Point
Hope shown on your show. Have you ever seen our Tikigaq Traditional Dancers/
Point Hope Dance Groups. I think we have the COOLEST dance group in Alaska.
Our Inupiat Culture is very important to us...I am proud to be a

Fox Television will be filming Team
Delta's 16 August 02 POW Interrogation / Resistance Training Program. One of
their reporters is going through the program as a regular participant - no
special treatment. This Team Delta program will be featured on a new prime
time News Magazine debuting this Fall.
Our goal is to fill the program - at least 12 participants. To make this
happen Team Delta is offering $100 off our regular fee for this program only.
If 10 or more sign up and show up, we will up the ante. Anyone who makes it
through the entire program (doesn't quit) and agrees to be filmed will
receive an additional $150 refund off the participation fee.
This is a one time opportunity - Take on Team Delta; show a national
television audience what a lean, mean fighting machine you are; and save
between $100 and $250 off the regular Team Delta program fee. If you've ever
wanted to test yourself against Team Delta, the time is now.

Hello, Jeanie: Your program is wonderful. A e-mail message
from your office sent to my brother Pat Kvasnikoff in Kodiak reunited Manuel
Kvasnikoff (my Unlce) and his son Patrick Kvasnikoff. They lost contact over
the years. He lives in Oregon. Patrick will fly to Anchorage May 30, 2002.
Neither one knows what the other looks like. Because of your program My
Unlce and his Son are being reunited. Thank you, Jeanie. Patrick called CIRI
and Ninilchik to locate his Father, over the years no luck. It's been 20 plus
years since they seen each other. I can tell you one thing this is going to
be a tear jerker.
I'm 1/2 Tlinget and proud of it. I am searching the

Hi Jeanie, I have enjoyed your program for years.
Unfortunately, I have GCI Cable that brings the Heartbeat only on Saturdays
at 10pm for a half hour.
I'm from the Eastern Interior of Ak. that doesn't get any coverage on the
Heartbeat. it would be nice to see an event happening in the Interior covered
on your show someday. I'm a Native Language Instructor and we have a three
weeks of Summer Session scheduled beginning on May 28, 2002 that ends June
18,2002. This session covers the Athabascan Languages from many communities
throughout the Doyon Region. Plus the Athabascan Conference is being held
during the last four days of that week here on campus of UAF. If you need
any more information call me @(907) 474-6263 or Gary Holton @(907)474-6585.

Hi, Jeanie.
I was surfing threw the net and came across Your site here..I am always
looking forward to watching your tv program !!!! Who knows I might see OLE
students I use to go school with WAY BACK WHEN!!! Ha ha ha ha, I went to
wrangel one year back in the late 60's and then finshed Up school out in
Chemawa Indian School THINK 1968-1971!!! Good Luck with your Guestbook..And
Your Native News..
I watch your show on the Aboriginal Peoples Television
Network - APTN - and I enjoy your production. I spent a year near Bethel,
Alaska and found that a very interesting experience. I have an opinion - and
please it is just my opinion - I think the Government of Canada seems to
treat the native population better than the USA does their peoples. In Canada
they have their own network, often broadcast in their native languages. I
would like to see an Alaskan Native Network - I think it would work if the US
or Alaskan government would support it. Thanks again for your great show Ms.
Greene!
Bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate
you, pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in
Heaven. Looking forward to your next piece on Kivalina. They've been
'persecuted' so much we hope you bring light to this school situation. We
were brought up not to judge people, not only from our parents, but
especially from God. Thank you for making your dreams come true, by that we
share ours through you. God bless you and your staff!

When NASA was preparing
for the Apollo project, it did some astronaut training on a Navajo Indian
reservation. One day, a Navajo elder and his son were herding sheep and came
across the space crew. The old man, who spoke only Navajo, asked a question
which his son translated.
"What are these guys in the big suits doing?"
A member of the crew said they were practicing for their trip to the moon.
The old man got all excited and asked if he could send a message to the moon
with the astronauts.
Recognizing a promotional opportunity for the spin-doctors, the NASA folks
found a tape recorder. After the old man recorded his message, they asked
his son to translate it. He refused.
So the NASA reps brought the tape to the reservation, where the rest of the
tribe listened and laughed but refused to translate the elder's message to
the moon. Finally, the NASA crew called in an Official government
translator.
He reported that the message said, "Watch out for these guys; they have come
to steal your land."
I am wondering if anyone has information when the Alaska Native Sports Association will have their games during the Fur Ronday next month. Do they have a website? If not, it would be great if Heartbeat could find their schedule and post it under Alaska Fur Ronday Native Basketball in your Native Sports Event Calendar for February.
Thank you for your attention.
By the way, I love Heartbeat Alaska it brings back family
traditional family values. Thank you for keeping it alive
for our future generations. Great way to pass it on!
God Bless you all. "Catellgaq"

Always enjoy your show, Inuit from all over the world are so much alike and it's nice to know we have friends in Alaska, probably relatives too if we researched the family trees.
